HI All- my wife and I are on the lookout for a 968 coupe, any tips or direction would be much appreciated.



This is our list of wants-



Under 80K miles

Mnaual transmission

Black interior

NOT red or white exterior



We are targetting well maintained cars with no major body repairs and good/excellent cosmetics advertised in the mid to high teens.



We live in the northeast but will certainly travel to view the right car.



We've been watching here, pelican, cars.com, and autotrader. Just upped our PCA membership to watch the Mart' too.



We have owned a string of 944s (85.5 Black, 85.5 Kalahari Brown, 88S Black) and a '96 Carrera, but think a well behaved 968 is the right car for us.



Would it be appropriate to post this in the general discussion?

I would also recommend you go down the listing here of cars for sale. Just down the list from your posting is a black/black couper for sale at 72K miles for $15k. It would seem to fit your criteria, and I know about this car and can vouch that it is in good to excellent condition with no issues. (I know the owner, but have no interest in the car, just trying to help out). it is located a long way away. Good Luck.
