I had a broken trans mount (tiptronic) last year (but not from erroneous jack placement). It was more than I felt I should tackle at home => $1,000.00. (which seemed high to me in the first place). But I wouldn't risk lifting on the trans when there are 2 jack pads for that purpose.

Do not lift from transaxle. That can destroy the mount which is a flexible rubber meant to have weight pulling on it and not be in compression.
Like $250 for a new mount.
