standard front shocks are never a direct fit . you need to cut a piece off and empty the damper then fit the new damper inside the old one .
Rear ones are ditect fit . just 2 bolts and nuts a piece and you can change them .

Thanks for the advice. According to the vendor, the Bilstein Sport B6 (front) is meant to be a direct fit. But i guess as you've mentioned, since i am replacing only the damper there is still some minor work required to remove the old damper and refit the new one in there.
