Hey, enough of this Danish hugfest ! Isn't it enough that Denmark has among the most beautiful women on the planet, and the country also places consistently at the top of the happiest people, so do you really need to add a 968 to that to make the country even more subject to envy ?! Oh, fine if you must .....

Welcome ! ;-) :-)

Bob, you need to pay closer attention when reading ; I wrote AMONG the , not " THE " . ;-)

Agreed with Jay, this subject requires further investigation.

Also speaking of beauty, indeed a great color. I find it interesting though that 968's Tahoe blue, Maritime blue, and Riviera blue shades are so close to one another. And all rare. Cobalt is a little more distant in its blue shade than the above mentioned ones, but still very brilliant . Then you have the Iris blue ( mine ) and the two different shades of midnight blue , the latter which is inexplicable ; the midnights are so close you need a magnifying glass and be in very bright sunlight to see the difference . Did I miss any blue shades on 968s ? I have a feeling there must be another one .

Last, being opinionated ( when you're right ) is a virtue isn't it , lol ?!

There was also a single Turquoise Blue, which I would love to see in person.

Speaking of colours. I originally looked for one in Cobalt Blue, thought of it as out of this world. It was pictured in the book "the Ultimate History of Porsche" by Stuart Gallagher. Never saw one for sale in the three years I looked. Happy with my Amethyst which appeared to be a rare breed as well.

Thanks, that's a good photo , and I've seen a couple of them up close and in person over the years at our 968 Ca. meetings . Even more puzzling why I left out what may be my top favorite color in a 968 ( in the previous post ). In addition to that, my friend and current part time mechanic has two 968s , one of which is horizon blue, BUT not kept in the best cosmetic shape ( and I'm being very kind in that statement , lol ) so it does not showcase the car and color at all .
