Hi everybody! I'm Joe Ferraro of Flower Mound, Texas; and proud new owner of a '94 Cabriolet.
It's my second Porsche, the other being a 914 1.8 I owned and tinkered with over 20 years ago. Needless to say, I'm very excited to be re-entering this hobby/world.
I'm an airline pilot by trade, former Air Force. I don't have deep experience as a "car guy" per se, but I have built a homebuilt airplane, including hanging the engine and prop & installing all the systems (fuel, electrical, brakes, etc). I'm hoping those skills will cross over....and if not, I can read and learn! I DO know forums like this were the key to that project for so many including myself...invaluable really. So here I am!
As I wait for the check to clear, and then try to figure out how to get the car from Denver to DFW, I thought I'd get my forum ball rolling.
Thanks for the welcome!

Rap, I'd rather not name names, but the initials are AA. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Hi Joe, Welcome to the best forum for our 968. As in any forum "Search" is your best helper. The more you post on here the more options will be available to you. The 968 is basically a newer version of the 944. You will find lots of help for maintenance at Clark's Garage.com.
Cheers,
