As a new 968 owner I've come to gather your wisdom, and some more day-to-day tips. This one I found out by myself: Don't let your battery run flat, you'll be locked out of your car! Speaking of which mine's a 1993 coupe, dark blue (iris or midnight? I ought to find out), with a blue leather interior. And I love it, again, that is, since it took me about 4 months to manage to open it again. Before you ask: yes; it now has a new battery.

Welcome! Battery issues can sometimes trigger the airbag light, and that is not always easy to get reset.

Next time the battery is flat, take off the LH indicator (for the view sitting in the drivers seat) then take out the 1 screw holding the fog light, inside the hole you should find a Bowden cable to release the bonnet



Now its easy to get to the battery,

Welcome, in reaction about the locked car, repair the locks. Because the doors in original modus can always be opened with the key......
