Hello from Germany. I bought a black (formerly red) 1992 Coupe in 2010 with 180.000km on the clock and in terrible condition. Now, four years and thousands of Euros later, it hit 200.000km and is in even worse condition.
Whenever I'm done fixing one thing, two new things break down. It's a proper love-hate relationship, but I'm not willing to give up on that little bugger.
Among these are as of now: Airbag light on (that's what drove me to sign up here, since I found some sort of DIY-fault code reset-topic), ruined targa roof, worn out seats and steering wheel, wavy rear bumper, worn out engine brackets, a crooked headlamp (I slid under a guardrail with the lights popped up, this massively bent the headlight console and dented the front wing)
I choose to fix everything myself. What I have done so far: timing/balance belt, camshaft chain and both pads, lots of rust- and paint work, new exhaust, new manifolds, leaking thermostat casing, brakes and much more
I hope I can be of help and finde some support for my own repairs.
