I'd like to spend a moment to introduce myself. I am from Vancouver Canada and do not currently own a 968 but have owned a 1987 944S in the past and loved it. I am looking to buy another Porsche whether it be a 968 or 944 because they are such fun cars to drive.

There is a 968 here on Vancouver Island that has been for sale for a while. Check kijiji usednanaimo or virpca.org. I have a 944 S2 for sale if you decide to go the pre-968 route <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

I just read the first post and am confused... You say you are "from Vancouver", yet your "City" states Toronto!
Does this mean you "used to be from Vancouver" but now (unfortunately) you are stuck in Toronto? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/icon_lol1.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Buy the best quality 968 you can afford. its cheaper in the long run especially if you are not mechanically minded or have no access to suitable equipment. A car thats recently had a ton of money spent on it could be a good bet. But remember lot's of money doesn't always spread very far with ANY Porsche.
