Hall Sender Assembly Group Buy
#21

I will be out of town until June 25th. I will have limited internet access, if any, during this time. All items that I have received payment for have been shipped. I will likely not be able to respond to any PMs or emails until I return. Thanks.

brett, sorry for the late response, the army had me at warrior leader course for the past two weeks. i just forked out the $185 to sunset for the porsche part so if anyone is still waiting to get a part, they can have the one i reserved. if nobody is waiting for a part i'll take the one i reserved as a spare.

thanks,

Is this hall sensor useable at both positions? Is that why people ordered two?

No, just for backup.

OK guys, I am back but not for long. I will be out of town again tomorrow through next Friday. All payments that have been received while I was out are being shipped by tomorrow. I should have some intermittent internet access during my absence but no guarantee.

odb812, please do not feel obligated to purchase. Especially after having to fork out $185 to the dealer for one.

Brett,

Am I still at the top of the waiting list, or is there one available?

Thanks,

Phil

Phil,

Looks like you have been bumped up. There's one available for you if you want it.

To all: Please realize that I won't be able to ship anything out until the week after next.

Looking forward to getting the rest of these suckers off my desk. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

If it's not too much of a pain, could you tell me my status at this point? Many thanks.

No, The rear sensor is the same as the two rear sensors on the early 944 engine.

However the plug is the same for both sensors and these connectors are easily broken. I ordered an extra connector because my connector was broken. The sensor may still be good. I broke the connector on the rear sensor on our 944 (same sensors as the rear sensor on the 968) and the car wouldn't start. Replacement rear sensor with a new connector is $90. However if you can tolerate an extra 9" of cable, there is a BMW sensor that works just fine.

Brett,

I was curious if you got my paypal to you and if so, if you've sent the sensor yet?

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Brett:

I sent you the money through Paypal awhile ago? Did you receive it? Have you sent out the sender?

Thanks,

Jeff

Yes, I have 3 peoples money and I need to send out there hall units. I have been swarmed at work trying to meet some deadlines and have been unable to assemble the units. Sorry for being so slow.

I tried to reflect your payment in my initial post in this thread but there is something screwy going on with the forum software. I keep getting some MySql error when I try to submit my modified post. I was able to change your status to paid although as of now it says the units will ship 6/30/06 which of course is wrong (that is when the last batch went out.) SoCalKen, you contacted me and wanted to be added to the list. As soon as I can modify my post without getting an error you will show up on the waiting list. Thanks.
