Questions about the airbox mod featured in 9 Ma

Good job Jake! That looks very neat and should result in more cool air going into the air intake. My car has the factory cover which I think does the same thing. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

it would be interesting to do some testing on that to see if you get a nagative pressure zone in front of the box or not, but it's not sealed, so i tend to think you're fine

Well done... I was condsidering doing something similar in aluminum, although the plastic is probably more practical.... I don't care for idea of sucking hot air anytime, so I may come up with something different.

Thanks - the tool box was £6, was pretty much exactly the correct length and had the added bonus of a second, smaller one inside for free!



I did wonder whether to seal the sides but i probably won't bother as the hole around the bonnet catch would still be there (unless i boxed that in?)
