Hope someone here can help. But if not, you could try a Porsche dismantler.

See http://www.weissach.net/PorschePartsSuppliers.html and then search (Ctrl-F in IE) for "dismantler".

There is one for sale now that is listed on 968.net. Not in the Classified section (which are years out of date) but in the Discussion Forum. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

I have one! $60.00 plus Freight. I will throw in a slightly used K&N filter for $10.00.

I'll take it if you still have it.

i've seen this pop up a couple of times now - why would somebody want a stock airbox?

Car may have had a cone filter and they want to back to stock or stock with holes.

Flash,

I read your article and plan to put holes in my airbox. But I wanted another to keep in case some future buyer was keen on originality....of course the longer I keep the car, the less original it's going to be ... my list of potential mods keeps growing...

I am also keen on "reversible" upgrades, so if somebody has an extra airbox - please let me know. I will drill some major holes in it and keep my stock unit in storage, just in case.

I'm curious, has there been any thought on making an after market moded air box? I know it's an odd idea, but for those people who don't want cone air, and can't find an original stock part. Seems like a lot of items for our cars can be found as after market parts. Why not air boxes?
