I am looking to solve a fuel smell coming from the trunk of my cab

some of the posts are saying there is a problem with cracks in fuel filler neck. Does this part on Ebay look like the right piece?

it says '93 968 model but also says 944.

Can anyone confirm this part will work on a '93 968 cab?

I saw this the other evening on eBay and thought of you. I don't know if the Coupe and Cab are the same part. I can check PET for you...speaking of which, I have a PET CD sitting on my desk with your name on it! Remind me next time you're over.

Just confirmed...filler neck for Coupe and Cab are different. The Coupe is mainly straight while the Cab has a significant bend in it. Two full pages in PET dedicated to each Coupe and Cab fuel systems so it appears they share very little.
