What about a TVR?

How does one even begin to fabricate these? Do they start with the stock bumpers and begin cutting and adding fiberglass? If so, the red car is impressive, particularly with the lights.

Do you think that one of these designs would allow space for an inter cooler? It certainly opens up more air to the radiator. The green car is hideous in my opinion, but the guys radiator is getting great flow (as well as bugs and animals). I don't have cooling problems, but if you could add a proper inter cooler, I could begin to dream...

I have a post somewhere here, but I went to a few high end body shops and tried to get some ideas on what it would cost to duplicate this exact style to perfection, where it would look absolutely indistinguishable from factory. I was also considering converting the hatchback into the style of a Jag XKR, or that of a DB9 back. My memory is not what it used to be but I think the range was a low of $ 25k to a high of $ 35k .

horrible horrible car to drive - every review i have ever read has been horrendous - the top gear episode was hysterical - they had never driven a car that handled that badly

also, i hate the hard edges and notches in the body lines, and the "stuck on" looking splitter

biggest no-go factor: IT'S NOT CONVERTIBLE

I did see the top gear episode. I keep forgetting you want a convertible. I guess the TR6 takes care of that need on my end...

Yeah they look good, but in the end the build quality is horrible. But the Tuscan R's exhaust note can bring a grown man to tears. If I had the money I wouldn't mind one, as long as I don't expect it to work every time I want to take it out for a drive
