Front Bumper sag
#1

I have a 92' 968 and as most 968's the front bumper has 2 small sags in the top of it just before the hood. I would love to post a picture but I can fiqure out how to get any pix uploaded yet. That actually is another question I need help with? Any advise?? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

I've got the same sagging problem with my bumper. I've been advised that there is nothing that can be done apart from buying a new one. It'd be great if someone has a remedy.

a good body shop, with a good polyurethane guy can usually fix it, but it involves stripping it and repainting it, and also the repair itself - you can usually save a little money, but there is no guarantee it won't do the same thing later

Thanks for your reply. Thats kinda what I have heard here as well. I want to get the car repainted(same color) but I was hoping before I spend all that money, I could get that fixed first.

I have a 92 also and I *hate* that saggy thing. Really cheap looking. I once saw an article (which mag I can't remember) where a body shop epoxyed an aluminum strip to the back of the saggy part of a 911-series car. I've been thinking that might be a remedy in our case.

Anyone know the details of what Porche changed on the bumper to remedy this problem in later years?
