Front Bumper Removal - New gasket required?
#1

Pulling front bumper to replace grille. Is gasket replacement usually required, or if in decent shape can it be reused? Searched other posts and found that staples are required for the bumper gasket and I'd rather avoid that process.

If the seal is good don't mess with it.
That being said, now is a good time to put in new seals.
They are pretty cheap from sunset Porsche.

the bumper cover gaskets do not generally need to be replaced - they can be a bit tricky though - there is a "hook" at the end - essentially it's a wire inserted into the bead and then bent into place

Thanks, that's what I thought. Just in case I'll put Sunset on speed dial.
