Finally took my daughter for a quick trip in the cab...

She loved it!

Had to drop her off at the sitter's this morning and she told me she wants a pink 968!!! Guess I'll have to start looking...!

All part of the master plan, my friend! She's going to be 8 next month, so I figure I've got another 7-8 years left to convince her mother to let me get a 968 coupe so she can have it as her first car!!!! Of course, the sooner her mom lets me get a coupe for her, the sooner I can get it "sorted" to ensure it is safe and reliable.....

And there is a pink coupe floating around!

I had looked at a Florida cab in that color - with a near-white interior - when I was looking for my car 6+ years ago.

lol - i think that car spends more time on a truck going back and forth across the country than it does on the road - i missed the chance to see it when it was here

I still swear I saw a Rubystone Red metallic coupe here in Northern VA not far from my office a year or so ago...perhaps there's more than one floating around. I've always got an eye out for it.

I told my daughter they made them in pink. I'll have to show her the picture so she can start working on her mom too!!

Now Darryl, you need to study your 968 paint facts. G4 Rubystone red is a solid color. If you saw a metallic pink then that was A7 Raspberry metallic. In any event, i hope you find it, both very rare.

Oops! Yes I stand corrected...and I think that makes twice(!) I've been corrected from a previous thread... I think from now on I'm just going to say "metallic pink" and we'll all know what were talking about! I really hope I do see that car again.

I'm saving an Amethyst Violet 968 cab (more purple than pink) and a Silver Rose 944 Turbo S (more like metallic pink) for my one-year old daughter. She's only going to need one -- the other will be for sale one she's old enough to decide which one she likes.
