I Finally Caught them in the Act
#1

As some of you witnessed at the detail day, I had quite a few 968s at my place and that wasn't counting the attendees!! At one point, I had 6 here either being detailed, selling, or having work done at my mechanics place here within the complex. There was a running joke that they must be multiplying on their own overnight when we humans weren't around. Well, I may have finally figured it out. OK, maybe not, but it was a funny photo op and one that I didn't have as of yet, so here goes. Maybe I should put the belly pans back on the Coupe for some "protection"!

Darryl, are you happy with that lift? I am in the market and am wondering what you and anyone who cares too chime in may think or recommend.

What'll come of that union, a 92.5 Coupbriolet? [Image: laugh.gif]

I think the "position" is incorrect!

Since the Coupe is "closed" and therefore is the only one that could have a "womb", that makes the Cab the "male" in this (crazy) equation!

(I hope my wife never reads this - she will think I have "totally lost it"!)

Langley...I was thinking the same thing so that makes us both pretty twisted! Of course with the Cab's top down, it does make the cockpit open.

Rap...yes it's a great lift. 2 post asymetrical version. Around here, you can find them used for 1500 to 2000 but prices can vary greatly. Lots of shops closed down in the past couple of years making the market saturated with used lifts, but recently, it seems prices have been going back up and they've been hard to come by. I paid 1500 installed for mine a few years ago, but recently just bought two more and had to pay 2K each plus 450 per for installation! Rotary is the defacto standard and "desired brand" so you will pay a little for the name. Bend-Pak is another very popular brand but there are alse others to choose from. Good luck in your search.

Maybe there's plenty of womb in the trunk. [Image: laugh.gif]

Gee I don't know, I saw the cab and it reminded me of an old Playboy mag cartoon with the woman on her back legs spread and up saying" come on big boy"! Thanks for that info Darryl. Were the ones you just purchased used also?

Thanks, Bob

Yes, other two lifts installed at separate/other shop. I am currently fresh out of spare lifts!! (they don't store very easily) If I run across a deal down here that can't be passed up, I'll let you know. I could always throw it on the trailer and bring it up to you.
