I'm sure a lot of you have received Jeff's email by now, but for those who haven't....the new PCA 968 Register website is finally ready!
Jeff and I have been working on and off for the past two years trying to create a much improved source for all of the production data and other information that he's compiled over the past 20 years. I've supplemented a lot and we've scoured the web for photos, documents, etc to try to make the site as complete as possible.
We're finally built on a good platform that will make it much easier to upkeep and update than the late-90's based design it was built on previously. There are still some pages which are waiting for updated images or information, which will grow over time and when we can get to it...
Anyway, browse around, learn a few things, and feel free to give any usable feedback here or through the contact form on the site!

Didn't work. The Captcha zip file will not open with Firefox.

Thanks, I missed that. I had deactivated the Really Simple Captcha plugin since another plugin had Captcha built in, and hadn't realized that the reference was still there. It is all fixed now. Sorry!

Yes, that is correct. It is a PCA sanctioned website - anyway, all of the information is available to everyone on the site - currently, the only benefit you'd get as a PCA 968 Register member is getting the e-newsletters in your email inbox, which get posted on the website as it is

Yes, currently Jeff sends out a 968-specific newsletter to all PCA members who have registered on the 968register site every few months, usually with a feature or two and then some updates on upcoming shows/etc. The newsletters also get posted on the 968register site afterwards.

I spoke to Jeff and he's not requiring people to be PCA members to join. I've updated the form and you are now able to fill it in without having to enter PCA member information.
As for a member map:
Jeff and I hadn't ever discussed doing this for the Register.
I know this was something that Flash wanted to get working properly here on the 968forums site - and maybe in the next big push of software updates here it will?
