Canton Racing Spin-on Oil Filter
#21

i'm not sure i'd feel comfortable with that - i'm not a big fan of running anything less in a filter than i can- it would certainly shorten the change interval if nothing else

After reviewing this thread, I visited Canton's site and it appears they now offer the same 25-282 spin on filter/cartridge system, but with four bolts holding the end cap in place rather than the 1" bolt. I'm wondering if this configuration would work better....instinct tells me it would. Anyone try this newer version yet?

Hmmm... Interesting find. I need to look into this myself.

Keep us updated. My engine top bits are off for the winter and it's the perfect time to add the Canton if there is a "new and improved" version.
