crazy electrical clicking noises

So driving today i was hearing what I first thought was just a plastic squeak from being and under my gauges seems to be something much more because as i stopped i could still hear it, i think turned off my car and it continued for another 15 sec or so. It is a verysporadic Electrical clicking noise. Anyone have this problem? Its a 1992 968 coupe fyi.

Now you know the clicking comes from a relay it should not be that difficult to find the correct one (maybe for the blinker) and replace. The fuel level gauge could be either at the sender (under carpet in back) or a bad ground in the cluster or just a defective gauge. The odometer most likely the gear. I bought a replacement gear from odometergears.com.
