I was tested positive for COVID on the 29th December, the ride since has not been much fun
I believe I caught it from my daughter who is a nurse, and has been working in the vaccination clinic
I started off just feeling really tired no temp or fever, it would seem to hat the virus then decided that my digestive system needed assaulting, spent the first 10 days doubled up with cramps
For the last week breathing has become a bit more of an issue, I spent the whole day at covid emergency clinic and have discovered that the virus also attacked my lungs, with tests I have 1,000,000s of microscopic blood clots which are marauding around my body, on their own no real danger, but if the decide to get a bit like Trump supporters I could be in big trouble
So I am currently on a fairly large assortment of drugs, blood thinners and 3 different inhalers to reduce the inflammation in the lungs
I get very breathless extremely quickly and the tiredness continues, so with a bit of luck and good fortune I should start to recover by March, words of the consultant
I am classed as clinically extremely vulnerable and should get my vaccine next month
Thanks for reading
