Clunk from the Front Right Wheel
if the bushings are delrin, there should be no preload

i may have mispoken, and was referring to the extra braces

as for the vertical support being between the tabs, it's been so long since i saw another one, that i frankly can't remember - i do know that neither the tarret nor kla braces should be between the tabs - that causes play in the bushing - it should be very easy to tell what is correct though - when you compress the tabs around the bushing, there should be no play whatsoever

please send me a link to the above mentioned post - i need to check that out and potentially correct it
I'm not proficient enough to post a link, however the long way is. Raising my 968- Rev it up- Go fast goodies- Page 11, KLA S/BAR SUPPORTS quality issue 13 september 2006, Post 23 with pictures and post 27, " OEM brace sandwiched, additional braces to the rear"

I'm just looking for the correct method before I reinstall and as I don't post much I'm not real good at this. I will say that the amount of good information on this forum can't be beat and I haven't needed to ask questions or post much, so thanks.

thanks - yeah - that's how i had it when i had the M030 bars - my bad earlier - i tend to assume at this point that everybody has added the tarret or kla straps to correct the oem design flaw, and that was what i was thinking about

like i said, it's pretty easy to tell what's right - you'll see a gap or looseness in the bushing if it's wrong, like you do in the shot with the other bracket sandwiched

bottom line though, if your brackets are moving fore and aft, you NEED the additional braces

Ok, I've got the braces ordered from Paragon, I'll be putting them on when thay arrive. I'll also make sure the supension is loaded with the weight of the car when I tighten everything. Hopfully this will take care of the problem. Thanks again
