When i first get my 968... i notice there are several flat spot on power, From 2000RPM under 3500-4500RPM..



It just dont feel like it have 3.0 LB with 11.0 C/P compare to my other car...





At first i was suspect it was due to the Exhaust come with car. that is too big, and loose TQ





Later when i get chance to replace the Fuel filter................... my godish. you cant belive how much crap have build inside............ it was so heavy and dirty.



The car now run much better. flat spot is almost not there, now a happy owner of porsche 968, Ready for another Track test this weekend hope i can improve my lap



time!!!!



I feel i am pretty lucky that my car did not blow up at last track day i took................ if this is a 951... i will for sure destory the engine now





so my .2cents



when buying car that is more then 15 years old. Change following thing right away



Starter



Alternator



and Fuel pump/ Filter

And do the airbox mod with the stage 1 chip - will smooth out other flat spots
