Can "chroming" be removed from wheels??
#1

So I was wondering, can the chroming done to a wheel be removed if one wanted to return said wheel to a stock condition? Or, are you stuck?

Yes it can be stripped. The wheels would then need to be refinished.
Unless you are getting wheels for under $400 or less, it probably not worth the effort.

Even if they are RUF.

I'ts a chemical stripping process and pretty expensive, and the "raw" wheel will need a new finish.

If there is a cool set of BMW or Porsche wheels for sale, chances are I have seen them.
BTW Ebay is now the last place I check.
