Bumper paint question
#1

I was rear-ended last week. Only minor damage but the bumper will need re-painting. Is the paint on the plastic bumper the same as that on the metal body panels? I was unaware of a difference but have now been told in a different post that it requires a different paint that has more flexible properties?

True?

RPM. I'm not a painter but have heard that shops add a flexing agent to the otherwise same paint.

One of my bro-in-law owns a body shop and I ask this very question some time ago and Tom is correct. Same paint adds the flex-agent to keep the paint pliable.
