Elephant Racing has a bump steering kit for the 944 / 968:

Has anyone installed this kit yet? If so, do you see any added benefit? I need to replace the tie rod ends on my car and do intend to add coil-overs soon. As I understand it, the bump steering kit really helps if you plan to lower the car and change the relationship between the steering tie rods and the rest of the suspension components. But I do not plan to lower my car that much (less than 1" if not less).

I love the slippery slope of automotive excess...if only it did not take up so much time and resources (money, cut fingers, gashed knuckle....)

It seems that this is common on other types or race cars. My two friends that drive full race Mustangs both use the bump steer kit. However, they were shocked at the Elephant Racing price. Seems that bump steering kits for their cars run in the $150.00 range.
