As I previously posted my 93 cab got whacked about a week and a half ago. I am in negotiations with insurance companies. I found a body shop I like. They are porsche certified have a down draft booth, a computerized German paint mixing booth, loads of Porsches and other high end cars being repaired.
The Owner is telling me that rather then replace the rear quarter panel which to me looks like toast that he has an old world metal guy that will spend whatever time it takes to bang it out on blocks and make it 100% perfect. He says that to remove the rear quarter panel he would have to cut into the unibody and would compromise the integrity of the body. He is replacing numerous other parts, front fender, front bumper, rear bumper.
Any thoughts?
