Body Trim Help
#1

A couple of very minor issues to deal with.

1) The rubber "seal" between the fender and bumper cover keeps coming loose at high speed and flapping around the fender well. First time I thought the tire was shredding.

2) Glove box strap is gone.

I've been to Pelican and Paragon sites and all over the net looking for these pieces. Anyone know of other parts suppliers that might have these bits?

Also anyone else have the seal problem and figured out a way to fix it without gluing the thing in?

THanks

The gloveboxcompartment repair document is 378kb. It is not manageable to attach it. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I'll sent you a pm. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

The bumper edging can be sourced from sunset. I think they are $35 a side.

under the hood there are 3 screws that hold the bumper cover on, if you take them out

you can pull it forward enough to get the beading back in. they are usually about an inch longer

so you can tuck the rest under to hold it.

and for rdhaward you can loosen those screws , put your knees up against the bumper and tighten

the screws while putting pressure, it might help tighten up the gaps and the beading.

Good luck
