I just ordered a B&B cat-back muffler system for my 968 from Hop Up Racing
http://www.hopupracing.com/bbpocatbahe9.html (this is not a group buy deal, but just a special they're offering right now). I searched but could find nothing cheaper than had been proposed on this list.
Their regular price is $865 but the sale price is $735, total, shipping included. I called several other places and none would even think of meeting this price. It's slightly more than some other systems (but probably less than the great looking system from England) but I've listened to the B&B on a 968 and I like the sound and performance descriptions from satistisfied owners. I acknowledge that there's a wide difference of opinion on this but when I added it all up in my mind, it seemed like the right thing for me. If I don't like it, it'll be easy to sell and change to something else. I'm looking forward to new, tested systems that are anticipated by some on this group. The ideas are intriguing but I'll wait for the jury to see how they perform.
Thanks for everyone's input on this relatively expensive purchase. If I'd had time, I probably would have a system built locally to my specs for less $$ but it would not have been as nice nor as well thought out.
I'll install it the first warm day. Can hardly wait.

[quote name='kgain968' date='Jan 25 2006, 11:45 AM']Let me know how you make out with it, did they offer an option for the resonator?

I called B&B and was told that the resonator was built in. Don't know how though. Each setup is now made on order.
