Another suspension question
#1

i was on www.suspensiononline.com looking at new suspension parts. i was looking at the koni yellows for the front, and i was wondering if they make them for the rear as well. on the site they only have front konis and not rear. also they have progressive 968 spring kit. it says it lowers height by one inch. now would this be a nice thing to do? would it be hard to live with a car lowered by one inch? basically would it be worth doing?

heres the spring: http://www.suspensiononline.com/Porsche-96...-spring-set.htm

there are a lot of threads here about suspension setups, i would recommend reading some of them

many people have done something similar to those springs - not a bad "+2" setup - certainly the most cost effective one - 1" is not a lot, and workable for most

yes, there are koni sport yellow shocks to match the struts - they have them there at paragon (i also have a used pair for sale in the "parts for sale" section here)

lol - no worries - while i do indeed have a bunch of springs as well (though probably not the rates for you), the konis i have are rear shocks

you have to remove a bump stop, compress the shock, and rotate it - really hard to do in the car

so basically make up your mind before you put them in the car, gotcha. your rear konis are still for sale right? and you say mechanically they are in great shape?

funny how things go - those sat here for quite a while, with a few false starts - then, i get 3 emails in one day

let me know how they worked too - the history is vague on those, so i will be interested to see how well my buddy did when he bought them, never installed them, and then left them here for me to find a home for
