I got my car back from IMA today. Drives nicely <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> As I turned onto 495 I tried to power on the radio and nothing. Then I realized that the time should’ve been displayed once I turned on the engine but it was completely dark. I figured no worries, they must have blew a fuse. I got home and checked fuses 39 and 36, neither was blown but I changed them anyway. Those were the only ones I saw marked radio and I still have no power. Is there a fuse that I’m missing before I start to pull out the Alpine to check its fuse? Would I be correct in thinking there’s a slim chance fixing a gearbox and timing belt could damage the radio?

I doubt the repair would "damage" the radio (blow fuses yes). Most after market radios have 2 power wires; 1 is key-on power and the other is constant power. The constant wire might have a fuse in-line that has blown, with out that power the radio will seem dead.

There is, I think, a fuse that controls the dashboard fuses. I blew it once removing the instrument cluster and I lost those lights. The other fuses that you mentioned were OK. Check the fuse panel again and look for a fuse that is listed as something like that. I can't check for you as my car isn't here but I do remember that.
