anyone know where to find a new 3rd brake light for a 1993 968 coupe (961 361 060 00)?

Having a cab, I don't know about the light for a coupe.  But I do seem to remember something discussed here several years ago about someone replacing the 3rd brake light with LED bulbs and it somehow prevented the cruise control from working properly!  Perhaps something to consider.

I did an LED 3rd brake light strip. I did loose my cruise control, but it's not a big deal to me. I know a cab 3rd brake light is similar, if not identical to an older Corvette 3rd brake light. Maybe try that as a search?

To fit a original third brake light to a coupe, you have to replace the lower spoiler as this is the holder for the light, to get the wiring through from the inside to outside you will have to drill a hole through the frame of the hatch



I did this last year, I bought the whole spoiler including lights from a guy in Canada, been searching for 7 years for one,



I will see if I can find any pictures, oh and the plugs in the loom should be there as standard and the harness is still available from Porsche
