Hi.

 

I'm from across the pond (Lincolnshire,UK) and am retrofiting the 3rd brake light - using oem parts i've got together from the US.

 

I've got everything worked out, I think, apart from the location where the two cables pass through the hatch and into the lower spoiler?

 

There seems to be a cut-out in the glass centrally to allow a hole to be drilled...

 

Does the cable run in the hatch frame? Exposed when you open the hatch and look up or does it get there some other way - porsche magic?

 

Any help wil be much apreciated - my car got its rear end reshaped a few years ago and so its currently in the 'shop getting better...

 

I've fitted full M030 kit and retrofitted air-con, myself, too as part of the journey (coming up to 14 years of ownership)
