working on a camber kit
#1

as a result of lowering these cars, the negative camber hits a limit, and cannot be reduced - this is usually about 2 degrees - that is a LOT of negative camber - if you have wide wheels, it means the outside edges are in the air when the car is going straight - for a street car, this means a lot of odd tire wear and less contact patch than what would be optimal

now that i have the huge sway bars and stiffer springs, and all the chassis bracing, i don't need nearly as much negative camber as i have, but i can't adjust it out without raising the car

so, i've been trying to design a kit to allow for more adjustment - i have some questions though to determine whether or not i do this in "one-off" fashion or duplicate it

i have posted poll questions to try to see where we are

Flash,

I recently had my ride height lowered (about an inch, I think) and now have the right rear out of spec as you describe.
Just for grins, and because I happened to have the reports scanned, I've included my last 2 alignment reports. One is from '07, before the height adjustment, and one is from '09 after the ride height was lowered.
