Wheels for Trade?
#1

Anyone interested in a trade? My car has 17" C2 Turbo wheels. I would be interested in trading them for 17" 993 Cup wheels. Mine are in good shape. Light scuffs. I would be OK with Cup wheels in worse shape than mine (curb rash or our of round) becasue I plan on having them refinished in Guards Red. Also would consider an aftermarket wheel depending on what it is. Just throwing a feeler out there.

GL with the guards red wheels. I have my 993 cup's in matte black. I am interested in what the red looks like, but i am not bold enough to do it myself. Also imho, the C2 turbo wheels, if they have the 7.5" front width, are rarer than the 17" 993 cups. You might be better off selling the wheels you have, esp. with the condition they are in, and buying a set of 993s.

i may be mistaken, but im pretty sure the 993 Cup wheels in 968 sizes are rarer then the C2 Turbo Wheels in 968 sizes.

Would you want to trade for oem 993 Hollow Spoke wheels? 18"...i'm not sure i want to trade, but someone interested in my vehicle stated they would rather have 17" wheels then the 18" that is on there now. He may want to trade if/when he picks up my car.

A buddy of mine runs a mobile wheel repair business. Still not 100% on what color I'll go with but want to do something unique/different. The wheels have brand new Bridgestones mounted so I was hoping to keep with the 17" size. Would be open to 18" wheels if the tires were relativly new.

Steering wheel... ordered.

Guards Red Cup wheels... ordered.

The swap offer is off the table but as soon as I get the new wheels mounted up I will put the C2 Turbo wheels up for sale.

you should not have any problem selling those if they are the originals and not replicas

There is a saying in Portuguese "Gosto nao se discute", which translated means "Taste is not up for discussion". <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

To each his own...

I am happy for you that YOU will be happy with the Guards Red wheels, but... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

The CS steering wheel, now THAT I understand... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I'm with Langley, I have tried to like coloured wheels but can't do it. I almost painted my rims Anthracite but pulled out and ended up painting them the factory colour. Totally agree on the wheel though. Especially with my 6'6" son who always complains about his legs hitting the OE wheel; he wants a slightly smaller on and I beleive the CS is a tad smaller.
