Wheel offset OEM
#21

Dave: I already have a set and they are very robust, just beat up a little. I have driven off the road twice, once with air sideways. PO nailed a curb. Rims in round w/no bends. Just scratches.

As for weight, yeah, they are a little heavy. But they are 18 inch rims AND rears are more than 10 inches wide and fronts are more than 9 inches wide (even though sold for inner rim measurement of 10 and 8.5) The width of my front tire is slightly narrower at the tread than at the rim allowing more clearance under arch. Rear tire is just a bit wider than the rim and fits with no problems. See my pics of your tires posts:

this is still one i am wrestling with - it's incredibly frustrating - i still want a lighter wheel than even the HRE - i just can't find one i like that doesn't cause me to give up a lot of tire or structural integrity of rim (which is why i chose the HRE over the Fikse), or cause me to have to do a lot of cleaning like a webbed rim would

I've looked around a little for replacements to my twisters. I love their look but they are too heavy.

Enkei makes some really light wheels in their Racing Series but not very many of them are made in the correct bolt pattern and offsets four Porsches. I'm not sure why that is. Maybe it's just market opportunity. Here are a couple of their wheels with the correct stuff for our 968s. They are light and taste is a matter of individual preference.

Just received my new set of eurotech rims. Well boxed with scratch proof netting and plastic guard rim on each wheel. I don;t have a scale in the house but i am sure weights are as listed above. They are very shiny and no scratches.

Ordered Saturday 10a cali time and at my door noon wednesday. shipping included.

Duckman, the nut depth and backside of the bolt mount part of the wheel hub can be trimmed for different similar offsets. so, a manufacturer casts the wheel hub diameter which is generally fixed and finishes the hub for several different car offsets(within bolt thread specs).
