UPDATE ON FLASH'S EXHAUST?
#41

Ok lets take this back on topic. I really think you guys should promote a group buy on the RS Barn exhaust I think you would be pleasantly surprised with the results and the price!

I think someone should initiate a group buy.

OK, everybody take a Midol® and a few deep breaths. Lets cool the personal comments for now and get back to cars.

i agree

i suggested an RSBARN group buy before, definitely on the other thread (and maybe earlier on this one too)

it is a superior unit, and even at full boat of $699, it is less expensive than the group buy price on the B&B

Perfect timing from our moderator! While all the discussion was underway, I sent off an inquity to Pete regarding a group buy on his exhaust sysem. He is willing to discount the system for a group buy as follows:

1 to 3 systems - $699 (regular price)

4 to 5 systems - $649 ($50 discount)

6 to 8 systems - $629 ($70 discount)

9+ systems - $599 ($100 discount)

Though I had listed myself as interested in the B&B system (separate thread), the discussion that has taken place the last few days has convinced me that. of the currently available systems, the RS Barn's system would be my choice.

Accordingly, I will start this off as a commitment to participate in a group buy. Is there any interest from others to participate? I haven't done this before (acted to coordinate a group buy), but I assume that if we can garner the interest, the names and orders would flow to Pete to determine the group pricing.

Am I missing anything here?

Your comments......and commitments would be appreciated! It sure would be nice to get that $100 discount!

Regards,

Ernie

Ernie I'm probably in depending on the rest of bill from Pete. So with flash and silvy968 needing two each for the dual look. that makes six.

Seriously though, you should probably start another thread for the RSBarn group buy.

Ernie start a new thread with the info you provided as people post interest post their user name

1. earossi

2. Mark

3. etc.

As people post they or you can update the list. Set a time limit lets say 10 or 14 days from now. At the end people can call Pete direct (If this is what he wants) place the orders once pete gets all of the orders he can start fabricating and charge accordingly. Lets say you get 12 people that jump on this and pete gets 6 phone calls then the price will be at the threshold indicated and those interested will be contacted with the updated price. Group buys work if everyone that says they want in follows through. In my experience they go pretty smooth. For $599 that is a hell of a deal. I would also ask pete for special pricing on the header as an add on.
