Time to say goodbye
#1

Hey guys, I'm posting here because for some reason I can't seem to post in the un filed 968 topics. But I have to say that I will be selling the 968, ASAP, because I need to recover from some debt... and I just got let go from my in-two-weeks-it-would-have-been-5-years career, lack of work, lack of funding ,etc, etc. So a double whammy to be sure. It's been a fun car, but I think it's time to move on, and hope everything works out. I'll be posting in the 968-for-sale section later today with all the details. And e-bay on Sunday. I figure I would rather let you guys have first dibs, since you can appreciate the car

I'll still hang around since it's a great community here, even if I don't have a 968 anymore Eventually I'm hoping to get myself a nice Caterham to putt around in - Street legal go-kart? Sign me up! And the bonus is that the only dealership in Canada is only a couple hours away on the Island All in good time!

Cheers!

first off, sorry to see you have to sell the car and sorry to hear about the problems - it is going around - hopefully things will pick up before many lose too much

the un-filed section is closed to new topics - it's just a dump site of threads that have not been filed yet - that's why you couldn't post there

let me know if you need any help posting the ad

That sucks that you need to sell it. Hopefully you can find another gig soon. Its not a great time to be selling cars. I just sold the 951 I had and it took a while even at give away prices.

I've seen the car and it looks good. Best of luck.

Ouch, I can relate, I used to work in the aerospace industry and was laid-off several times, [end of contract etc.].

Hopefully in 09 the economy will pick-up enough to allow companies to start hiring again.

Good Luck...

Sorry to hear of your bad luck Renn, good luck selling the 968 in these tough times. I really agree with your choice of a replacement! Should be lots of fun, good luck with the job search as well, Bob blackwell.
