Suggestiosn to help cope with the problems of owning an older car
#21

My 968 is a daily driver if daily doesn't mean every single day. I drive the Mustang convertible some of the time. However, I probably average driving my 968 1/2 of the time. Some weeks it's every day. Some weeks not at all. Some weeks two or three days.

My car is sixteen years old, too, and a LOT of things have already been replaced. I've replaced some things twice. There have also been quite a few upgrades along the way. I didn't keep the records as I didn't want to look at the expense over the seven years or so of my ownership. It would probably be a scary number but it's certainly not $60k.

Old things wear out. I know--I'm old, now, and I'm wearing out, too.

And, generally, our worn out and broken parts are not replaceable.
