So the car is at my Indy P shop and I'm having them redo the monoballs in the rear, rod bearings, change the diff fluid (since the plug is beyond stuck) odds and ends and a full safety inspection.
The kicker - they can't find anything wrong with the rear. It sure made a hell of a racket at WGI and made nasty sounds running it on the jack stands. They found only tiny bits of material in the trans fluid. Drove the car on the highway and they say, "no issues". (still have plates, reg and insurance)
And I parked it and gave up the championship figuring the rear was toasted...
I'll be doing a test and tune first thing when the sun hits the pavement this spring fully expecting the rear to explode but we'll see <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/EmoticonCar.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
The car will be better prepped for 2012 than this year, that's for certain!
Cheers
