Sunroof bag for coupe, standard?
#1

Does anyone know if the sunroof storage bag came with the 968 coupe? I seem to recall I had one with my 944 Turbo. I'm not sure if this is a standard item or something you had to purchase from the dealer like floormats.
Thanks!

As far as I know the car came only with a set of straps as standard.

I'm pretty sure it was standard too, but I could be wrong...I had one with the 944. I recently learned via this forum that it was supposed to be strapped in using the hooks sticking up through the carpet. I need one for the Coupe.

I don't believe the bag was standard but just the straps.

The 924 and 944 had the bags, the 968 had only the straps(928 didn't need either set up). The roof will work in the 924/944 bag if you prefer that; I find the straps are a pain to use and just set the roof in the back with the rear seats up just in case.

+1 on the above.

My previous 924 and three previous 944's came with a bag but the 968 came with the net. I also agree the net is rather a PITA, but it looks cool all strapped in back there. I also find myself simply laying the top in the back sans straps most times because face it, we're probably not participating in a AX without the top installed right?

Going topless rocks, with or without a net!!!

My 944 had the bag, which seemed to have shrunk and was a very tight fit. My 968 has the roof straps, which worked great for strapping in my alto sax.
