Things to ponder during Covid times ( although I have thought of this a few times in the past ..might even have an old post here somewhere on the topic.. ) 

• Targa definition :  “ Targa top, or targa for short, is a semi-convertible car body style with a removable roof section and a full width roll bar behind the seats. The term was first used on the 1966 Porsche 911 Targa, and it remains a registered trademark of Porsche AG.: “ 
  
  

The 968 coupe’s removable sunroof occupies the majority surface area of the entire roof ; 
without it the car has essentially the structure of a Targa .  

 
Henceforth I’m referring to my car as a  968 Targa  !!

But a 911 with a solid roof is not called a targa, only the ones with removable roof section, so it would follow that a none sunroof 968 is a coupe, and one with a sunroof is a Targa

My targa has the section that opens much like a sunroof but the rest of the top is glass.
