A la carte Supercharger Kit and Layaway Plan
#1

Now that things are changing for Design 1 Racing, I've decided to make the Supercharger decision easier (lol - or more difficult) for some people.

It has always been a major chunk of most people's budget to get into the Supercharger Kit. I offered a Layaway Plan at one point on one batch. That seemed to be very helpful, and I want to utilize that again. I didn't want to be limited though, or have to stock everything, given that there are now multiple versions available. So, rather than do that, I am setting up a bit of a different process.

With the development now of Stage 2 and Stage 3 Tuning Kits, the Supercharger Kit can now make even more power, and can do it more safely. I also understand that some people want even more. While I am not inclined to put something out there that can damage an engine, I realize that some people want to push the envelope anyway.

In response to these varied needs, I am implementing a new way to get into the Supercharger Kit, that allows people to tailor things to their own specific needs and desires.

The "Hardware Only" kit is available. This kit provides everything you need to install the Supercharger Kit, except for the Rotrex itself, and the Tuning Kit. This kit comes complete with a 1 year warranty against defect, regardless of whether you go Stage 1, 2, or 3. It comes with a slightly limited 1 year warranty if you choose to go beyond stage 3. This kit sells for $2395.

The Stage 1 Tuning Kit is sold separately. This kit includes the CARB certified tuning for the 5 lb kit.

The Stage 2 Tuning Kit is sold separately. This kit retains the OEM injectors. It only works with the 5 lb kit. This is not CARB certified.

The Stage 3 Tuning Kit is sold separately, but also requires the purchase of the Stage 2 Kit to complete it, as it is an upgrade kit from Stage 2, not from Stage 1. This kit comes with larger injectors, and is the safest of the lot. It only works with the 5 lb kit. This kit is not CARB certified.

The Stage 1, 2, or 3 Rotrex Supercharger Sub-Assembly is sold separately. This is a modified Rotrex limiting boost to 5 lbs, and sells for $2295.

For those who want to go even farther, they can purchase an unmodified Rotrex and tune the kit themselves, whether by the Motronic or standalone. You can easily reach 8 lbs boost with an unmodified Rotrex. Retail price is $2195. We can offer it at $1995.

This "A la carte" system makes it easier for people to get into the Supercharger, as they can purchase things as they go. At the time of this release, there are 5 Hardware Only kits remaining. I will continue to make available the other items to accompany this kit, until we run out of those 5 kits.

In addition to this, now until December 31 2012, I am offering a Layaway Plan. For a $1000 deposit, you can put a Hardware Only Kit on layaway. You then have until March 30 2013 to pay it off, at which time we can ship it. If you cancel, there is a $200 non-refundable deposit. Contact me for details on this using the "Contact Us" button on the Design 1 Racing website.

If that still isn't enough incentive for you, upon purchase of the Hardware Only Kit, now through December 31 2012, I am also offering a $100 "coupon" which can be used toward the purchase of ANY of the other Supercharger related items.

All purchases are done via the website. Prices do not include shipping. The website takes credit cards via PayPal.
