snow tires and wheels
#1

Ok I admit my ignorance. I have the wheel calculator that someone was nice enough to post but it does not help me figure out if these wheels and tires will fit, or will they need spacers and what size.

255/40-17 rear

Rear: 9J x 17 ET47

205/50-17 on front.

Front: 7.5J x 17 ET52

yes - those are exactly the offsets i had on my 17s - worked very well - but, the front tires are 2 sizes narrow and a size tall - should work, but the correct size is 225/45-17

You want to be at the OEM minimum (16") and with a narrower profile if possible. Don't mess with 17" in the snow if you can avoid it.
