Nah, get a McLaren cover for the Camry ( or a Bugatti Veyron one )  and just leave it parked in the driveway like that         Wink

Well, comparing to a McLaren or a Veyron,  slumming with a Maserati or a Porsche is about right .    :glare:  Rolleyes        B)

Beautiful. How frequently do you have your people wash and wax your cars? Or did you photoshop it? Either way this should be on your xmass cards!!!!!!

Thanks ! The 968 I have hand washed at a great car wash only about 10 minutes from my house, and as frequently as needed, but its generally once a month, after a set of weekend drives. However, I always wax it myself, maybe a couple of times a year . No claybar treatment or any buffers used, I simply hand apply it and hand wipe it, and I think the results are outstanding ( IMO )

The Maserati , I had ceramic coated, within a month after buying it , not a cheap thing to do , but it does not need wax ( at least for the 5 year guarantee timeframe ), shines like a mirror, and nothing sticks to it ( like bird poop or similar stuff ) surface scratches are non-existent, and its also a cinch to wash; water just beads on it and falls off . Here are a couple of phots of my non-professional wax job results on the 968. .

Yes, its my car without the German DS 968 front plate during a time when I removed the old one and waited for a new one to be made .

Also great for narcissists, they can admire themselves by staring at the cars surface . Pretty sure all the Kardashians had their cars ceramic coated just for that reason .

I'm glad to see you acknowledge this trait of yours.Feeling empowered? Achieving the mirror shine is analogous to the search for the holy grail. You can always see a pic that looks better than yours. Yes I know they may be fake or touched up but it spurs one on!!

But I found the holy grail ! It’s called Rejex ( as the base coat ) topped by a coat of NXT wax a day later .

Silly boy. The holy grail is not about finding it is about looking.

Not much a student of history eh. My Targa, which is midnight blue, is so much easier and fun to detail. The color, unlike my two white 968’s, can provide much more visual depth.

Of course . A great benefit of darker colors. On the flip side, dust and other dirt shows on them a lot more than on lighter colors so need to wash them frequently . Silver is supposedly a color which shows the least amount of dirt . White in second place . Black is said to be the worst, and if you want your car to look good better wash it every other day .. But man, a well detailed black car looks crazy good.

( in the showroom , or for about the first hour driving it , )

Perhaps if I retire and take my anal meds everyday, I might consider washing it every other day! I think white shows dirt pretty fast. Of course that might be over anal medication.

And I think Black is just as bad if not worse than white,

and you want to see the state of my car right now, 140 miles in the poring rain...... its messy

but I had no choice, I had broken the A4 (don't ask) so needed to use the 968 to get the parts for the A4.

Anal medication..., hope the tablets are not tooooooo BIG

Oh no  you swallow it. It then comes out as fast as it goes in. I bought my wife an 'accord. She loves it. Hates the color. Black. Always looks dirty. Mind you she is at the barn 6 days a week. Dust, mud, hay, manure and what ever else might fly by. Clean it, why bother? Inside sure outside ah naw.
