I need a SL-Lock part#999.166.03.02.. Do any of you know of a source for this little spring clip. My shift lever started vibrating so after an inspection I noticed that the sl-lock is split and ready to break.



I tried the Porsche delear and he searched the national delear inventory but no one has the part in stock. They also told me that the part is back ordered from Germany and wont be available until 11/06... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />



So I bought a rod end cap (like that used on the shaft of a little red wagon wheel) from Home Depot.



Any other suggestions are appreciated...

i'm going by memory here only, but you should be able to find circlips that will work at any true value or ace hardware store - OSH should have them too
