996 or Boxster seats?
#1

Just curious... At 162k miles, my driver's seat needs the side bolster's and a seam repair. Also, the springs and cushion are well worn. I can get the seat repaired, that's not the problem. I'm wondering if Boxster or 996 seats will bolt in? The seats are about the only thing I do like about the Boxster <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

IIRC, the answer is No, without a lot of rail modification, and then it will still sit tall. I believe it was Sandoval that attempted it, perhaps send him an email.

IIRC though, 993 seats work fine yes?

Yes. The 968 came with both the 964 seats for the early years, and the 993 seats in the later years.

From personal experience, the early seats can be recovered with the later (993) style skins. The fit is perfect.
