OK, I've had a Kirkey Road Race seat in my first track 968. I put a pair of Cobra Suzukas into the Club Sport. For this latest toy, I was wondering if anyone has managed to shoehorn the Porsche GT3 seats into their 968? Meaning these...

If so, what were the problems encountered? Any pics? The problem I've had with both previous installations is the loss of headroom. Seem Porsche is able to get those seat bottoms nice and low, where the aftermarket folks have them way up on brackets, and even when in the lowest set of adjustment holes, I still lost 2-3 inches of desparately need headroom. I'm 6'2 and 220, fairley athletic build. So with a helmet, things get very cramped, I need all the headroom I can manage. So, GT3 seats anyone?

I've have them for about 2 years. No installation problems with brackets from Key-Krause. They seat very low and actually you gain headroom. Very light. The difference is definitely feel at the turns. I got mine from BW motorsports. Sorry I can't post pictures (I'm out of town).

Don't they look nice and so cheap. They would probably cost something stupid like $5k here!

Mike, I am thinking about a pair of Suzukas for my 968 for DE. How did you mount your set - does Brey Krause have hardware or Cobra, or other? I am looking at the GT version that is 2" wider and have not yet measured if they shall fit. How did you like them?

If you want the real deal, I have a set of Genuine Porsche 968 Club Sport seats:

As you can see the sliders are included. As such, installation is a direct bolt in that only takes minutes.

Let me know,

They certainly would be great if you had a Speed Yellow car. I wouldn't hesitate if they were Champagne.I guess you could have them painted in whatever interior color you wanted. Sigh!

But, yes, of course, the seats can easily be painted any color to match. Or they could be painted black to go in any color Porsche!
