Reinstalling door glass
#1

One of the two brackets that take the two nylon rollers that engage to raise and lower my right-side window detached itself, allowing the window to drop inside the door. The spot welds holding this 6"-long bracket had failed. I removed the window and have reattached the bracket. Now I am having trouble getting both rollers reengaged with the two brackets. Once I get one side engaged, I don't have enough free play to get the other side on the roller. I have tried doing this with the window-raising (and thus the rollers) mechanism in a couple of positions without success. Doe anyone know the secret to getting this done? I suspect it has to be tipped in--getting one roller engaged first--but so far that's not working.
