I know someone has solved this problem. This is on my 92' 968, to replace a light bulb in the rear cluster, you loosen a two inch plastic nut from inside the trunk and the entire light cluster pulls out and there sit the bulbs.
The problem I have run into is that the plastic nut simply turns. As I crawl into the trunk, I can see that the metal screw that is supposed to be solidly attached to the cluster is spining with the nut. I have attempted to hold the screw with some long needle nose pliers, but to no avail. Any thoughts?
While I am asking for help, I replaced the bulbs on the rear left side and now the left front turn signal lights up when I hit the brake pedal. I am heading to the Porsche dealer for some OEM bulbs and perhaps that will solve the problem. Anyone heard of this before?
Thanks for your thoughts
